Emotional Intelligence

True empowerment begins with self-definition—understanding our unique values, passions, and aspirations without allowing external factors to dictate our reactions or sense of worth. This clarity in how we see ourselves lays the foundation for a life aligned with our inner purpose and the environment we thrive in.

As we journey toward our goals, it’s essential to equip ourselves with tools that nurture emotional wellness and broaden our perspectives. While challenges along the way are inevitable, the resources we gather allow us to stay centered and resilient, refocusing on our goals regardless of obstacles. Each step of this journey is self-paced and unique; for some, it’s a swift ascent, while for others, it’s a gradual climb. The pace is defined by the individual, emphasizing that every woman’s path to her desired level of success is hers to determine.

FINANCIAL LITERACY

In the United States, there is a strong emphasis on teaching core skills like reading and writing, but financial literacy for women often receives far less attention. As a result, many women grow up without the tools needed to manage personal finances effectively, leading to cycles of poor financial decisions and the ongoing struggle to meet daily expenses without a clear path to financial independence. This challenge is especially pressing for women in low-income communities.

Faith In Girls (FIG) recognizes the urgent need to close this gap. By integrating financial literacy into our program curriculum, we aim to equip women with essential financial skills and raise awareness about the importance of financial well-being. Through partnerships with local community organizations, we are committed to teaching women practical financial principles that they can begin applying immediately. Upon completing our comprehensive program, participants will have the opportunity to join our Home Readiness Program and participate in our Rent-to-Own initiative, ultimately creating pathways to homeownership and long-term financial security.
